Melbourne - Markus' last day with James Bond, Burrito and Pizza

Hya people,
On Tuesday the 14th of January 2014 the day finally came: Markus’ last day in Australia. Actually the sadness about this event grew in me over the past few days and I really could not deal with it too well. Despite this we tried to make the best of it and decided to go to the Melbourne Museum for the James Bond Designing exhibition as Markus is quite a fan of James Bond 007.

Unfortunately you are not allowed to take pictures inside the exhibition with the gadgets, suits, dresses, places and sketches of the sets. But there were a few things outside you could take pictures of.

After that we also went into the Melbourne Museum and strolled around but found the settings of the different themes a bit random and confusing, so we headed outside to some 40 degrees Celsius.

We went to Lygon Street for an ice cream and then back to the hotel to fresh up. At 6pm we headed back to Lygon Street for some nice last dinner at a Mexican restaurant but the portions were a bit small, so we also went for pizza in the first ever pizzeria of Australia, established in 1961. Well, this is a fairly young country. Walking back to the hotel and getting everything ready for his departure the very next day was incredibly intense, weird and absolutely sad. That’s the way I have chosen and I will deal with it… somehow...maybe...
